Bendick Murrell - aspects of its early history

Monteagle

A thriving rural village just 15 minutes from Young on the Scenic Road. The village is the centre of some of the richest agricultural land in the district and also boasts a unique village cemetery. Not only is the cemetery a serene resting place for many pioneering and recent residents of the village and surrounds it is also part of a remnant of grassy box woodland, protected by a Voluntary Conservation Agreement.
